Happy Monday Mommies! What a better day, than a rainy and gloomy one to start our "Tips and Tricks" part of this blog. This week we are going to focus on KEEPING OUR TODDLERS BUSY! These tips & different posts are meant to target tons of different moms in different situations. I will post different tips and tricks that I have done personally, along with articles, and or websites that I find throughout the week in this tab of the website.
I would love to hear comments and or feedback if you have personally tried some of these yourselves. Even if they didn't work.. Or how you changed them up a little bit and made them better.

Keeping these little ENERGETIC toddlers busy
(even for a few minutes)
Some of these aren't going to be for EVERYONE. Some are going to be messier than some mommies would like, and some might just not work for some toddlers. All our little ones are so different with different personalities. So if you aren't seeing anything for you or your little one.. Go ahead and make suggestion about what you would like to see. Or check back in a couple days and see if there are any updates... I hope that I can meet a variety of needs for all the mommies and toddlers in different situations. Please be patient and work with me, for I am new at this as well.
A TODDLER, A MARKER (crayons, color pencils or a pen) AND A BOX!
Seems simple enough, and you would not believe how long the silence will last! LOL! This one can be messy if you use markers.. So I suggest either play clothes or just let them play in a diaper. If you buy your diapers by the box, what a great way to reuse those boxes. And you can still use the box for storage and such.. The box isn't ruined, just a little decorated :)

A TODDLER, A POP BOTTLE ( juice bottle or a milk jug ) AND POPSICLE STICKS
Another pretty simple one. Little kids love to see things fit in other things! Things like these keep my toddler giggling while playing. We recycle all of our plastic so he knows just were to find empty bottles to play with anytime! You don't have to use Popsicle sticks either. You can use anything.. Tore up pieces of paper for example. I love things like these little games, because you can use different things that you have at home and they work just as well!
AS I COME ACROSS MORE I WILL SHARE, AGAIN I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU.. ENJOY YOUR RAINY DAY!
